News Help us Build a Pasadena L'Abri!

Dr. Francis Schaeffer who co-founded our ministry has given us a call that we have not yet adhered too. Now we have an opportunity to do so. Taking his "True Spirituality" and the "Church at the End of the 21 Century" into more research, which we are doing and into practice which we have not done as much with. Our goal is to take our think-tank and resources and have a L'Abri Center here in Pasadena for lectures and continue his legacy with further research. We are now seeking to raise six+ million dollars to purchase a large craftsman home and turn it in to a Pasadena, Ca and fund a L'Abri, offering a distinguished speaker's series, a library and research center…. We need people such as yourself for this partnership, please be in prayer.

Church Growth Tip of the Week

Pastors, who are real, and authentic, lead healthy churches. This builds trust. Real, authentic leaders will never grandstand, make up problems, or blame others, but will take responsibility, and tell their stories honestly. In wisdom, they will disclose truth, tempered with listening. Be open, and encourage the other leaders to do so too. Authentic leaders can be vulnerable and sensitive at the right times in the right places, and yet wise enough not to give out too much so as to be perceived as week and needy. Real Christians will forgive you for your mistakes when you are honest! (Acts; James 5:16; 1 John 1:8-10)

Prayer Guide for your Church and Pastor!

Pray that your Church and Pastor have and continue to take hold of a growing, consistent walk with Christ with a devotional and prayer life that is steadfast. Pray that they realize and allow Christ to work and use them as they grow closer in their faith, spiritual formation, maturity, and love (Psalm 16:8-11; 73:28; Rom. 8:31; 2 Pet. 1:5-7).
