Do you know who we are and what we do?
When most people are asked
this question, those who use our resources, "Into Thy Word" and "Discipleship
Tools," they assume a large organization is behind us.
Why?
Because we have more and better resources, and better platforms that the big
ministries and Christian business do not have. Thus, they assume we are one of
the big guys. This is humbling and flattering and a cause for concern.
We strive to produce the
very best research and exegesis to make effectual biblical resources for you and
for pastor s all over
the world. And, have them on the best websites, social media and structures
possible. And we do not charge for them! Most do not even strive for this. We
work hard and do our best for God's glory. But, we are not one of the 'big guy'
ministries. There are no big budgets or pockets or organizations behind us. We
are a small mission organization and for over 35 years been striving for
biblical excellence and "true Truth" for God glory.
We need your
financial support and prayers to carry on the
ministry!

The Call to Bear the Fruit of the Spirit
Jesus, in John 15, gives us
some incredible imagery from agriculture, a very familiar theme in the first
century culture that connects to our relationship with God and His relationship
with us. He is calling Himself the Vine . This is referring to a
grapevine, which is also a metaphor for God's living, salvation-giving
sustenance to us His people. This is one of the "I am" saying of Jesus-a
description of His name "to be" and character, meaning Jesus is our prime source
of life and nourishment. In the Old Testament, Israel is called God's vineyard
and His vine, while God is the vine-grower. This was a symbol of Israel's power
and her purpose to produce fruit and glory to God, and His law and love to the
nations. This is the engine to what He gives in faith, fruit and empowerment. (Gen. 12:1-3; Ex. 3:14; Psalm 40:1-2; 80:8-16; Isa. 5:1-7; 53:6; Jer. 2:21; 6:9;
Ezek. 15; 17:5-10; 19:10-14; Hos. 10:1; 14:8; John 4:24; 6:35; 8:58; Rom. 3:23;
10:9).

Being Loyal to Christ and His
Bride
Is our church being a Conspiracy against God? The point? This means to choose sin is a deliberate choice, one that God hates passionately. This was also a term used by the early church for Rome (Lev. 17:7; Is. 1:21; 26:16-18; 57:3; Jer. 3:1-14; Ezek. Chaps 16& 23; Hos. 4:15). These people thought they did not need Christ and that they would escape the judgment of God! (Does the deceptive thinking sound familiar?) Such people and thinking is contemptible and self destructive, because nothing can challenge God.

Church
Growth Tip and Prayer of the Week
Ideas to consider: (Romans 12:18; 14:18-19; Ephesians 4:3; Hebrews 12:14)
The leadership must be able to steer the church through rough white
waters! (See our articles on Conflict Resolution, Gossip, and Hypocrisy,
and Matthew 18)
The best way to deal with conflict is to
combat it through love. When people know that you love them and will listen to
them, it is difficult for them to be mad. Love, indeed, covers a multitude of
sins! ( Proverbs 10:12 1 Peter 4:8)
Pray that your Church and Pastor take accountability seriously and each be
protected and have people they are accountable to. Also, that each would
cultivate and pursue healthy relationships (Gal. 6: 1-10; Eph. 5:21).

It is our VISION and call, and commitment to point the
church back onto the path of making disciples. It is our passion and directive
to lead Christians away from our false perceptions and into His
way.
