Definition of Sins!
What is sin and what does it do? Romans 1
God is not some kind of killjoy who has a perverse since of humor, desiring to see us suffer. He does not just come up with a list of rules and regulations that we could not possibly follow just to amuse Himself. No, God is pure, just, and loving. We, as humans, chose to fall away from God and His perfection. God desires us to live the best way possible, and experience the most out of life with happiness and joy.
Yet, we live in a world corrupted by sin, so everything is degraded from what it was meant to do. Man, the land, animals, plants, the air, everything is touched. Thus, the consequences of that fallen nature impact everything. Even in this corrupted, tainted world, including our sinful selves, we have a God who is offering His love and grace, if only we will reach out and respond.

What does the Resurrection Mean?
The Resurrection is the heart of Christianity, the ultimate climax that has come for the Church and for the Christian!
Easter is the celebration of the accomplished Gospel! The Gospel is the ultimate Message, the ultimate good news that is wrapped up in this happening, the wonder of the universe-the incredible impossible and the incredible triumph. This is the celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, and this means that Jesus was crucified; He died, and was buried and He rises, conquering death to give us life (Psalm 16:11; 107:09; Isa. 26:3; John 14:21; Gal. 5:16; 22-23; 1 John 1:7-9; 3 John 4).

Being Loyal to Christ and His Bride
We got trouble in our churches--a lack of loyalty.
Look at it this way. If you want your church healthy and lined up to God's call, commands and precepts, you have to be loyal! That means being trustworthy, faithful and devoted to Christ as LORD and His Truth! That means more than just placing Him first or ignoring the relativisms in our society. It means a defining quality that I am fully engaged to be in Christ, to follow Christ and lead others to Christ. In contrast, if we are not loyal; then, we are betraying. As a pastor, my first and foremost job is to point people to The Shepherd. So, the point of this message is simple. We have to recover our churches from the desires of what I want, from the false trends, away from betrayal of Christ's Lordship, to turn back to the true Truth of Scripture that glorifies Christ as LORD!
If not, if we dare to go to our pulpits, boardrooms, small groups, classes and families with what I want to say and ignore Him, we are in fact being disloyal. If we dare teach what is false, give only half truths and merely feel good messages, like "sermonettes for Christianettes ," we are in fact being prostituting His Word and Truth.

E Books Church Growth Tip and Prayer of the Week
Ideas to consider: (Romans 12:18; 14:18-19; Ephesians 4:3; Hebrews 12:14) The leadership must be able to steer the church through rough white waters! (See our articles on Conflict Resolution, Gossip, and Hypocrisy, and Matthew 18)
The best plans and calls of the Lord will stall out due to conflict! God's voice is the first one muted--read the book of Amos! The Holy Spirit cannot work effectively when ill will and ill desires are running the roost. You must drop to your collective knees and pray for revival. That will work! However, church growth, spiritual or numerical, will never work in an atmosphere of conflict! (Philippians 1:6-8)
Pray that your church commits to place its focus on the Supremacy of Christ and be dependent upon Him (Gal. 6:14; Col. 1: 15-17)!
